3D Preview & 3MF Export
Inspect interactive 3D physical models of quantum circuits in real time and generate multi-color 3MF files ready for 3D printing on Bambu Lab, Prusa, and multi-extruder systems.
Interactive 3D viewport
The 3D preview window renders a physical model of your circuit using Three.js:
- Raised gate tiles: Each gate renders as a tactile physical tile with crisp pixel-font labels on top.
- Wire rails and bus lines: Qubit tracks form structural rails, while multi-qubit controls render as elevated connecting buses.
- Control discs (C-discs): Multi-qubit controls and targets appear with distinct physical geometry matching the 2D schematic.
- Orbit controls: Left-click and drag to rotate the view, right-click to pan, and scroll to zoom into specific gate interactions.
3MF multi-color 3D printing
Qubi generates clean 3MF archive packages containing colored meshes aligned for modern slicers (such as Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, and PrusaSlicer):
- Color mapping: Gate colors, wire lines, control dots, and text labels are separated into distinct color groups for AMS / MMU printing.
- Embossed pixel typography: Labels are raised directly out of the top surface of each tile to prevent color bleed and ensure legibility even at small nozzle sizes.
- Standard 3MF archive: Ready to drag and drop directly into your slicing software with no manual mesh repair required.
Print configuration settings
Customize physical dimensions and mechanical tolerances before exporting:
- Separate gates vs monolithic: Export modular snap-together gate pieces that slide onto rails, or export a single solid circuit board.
- Piece width and scaling: Adjust the millimeter size per gate column to match your desired physical scale.
- Socket tolerance: Tune the clearance gap between modular gate sockets and wire rails for a smooth, snug mechanical fit.
- Base height and rail thickness: Adjust floor and rail dimensions for structural rigidity.
